At 9: 50 AM on July 15th, Chen Sanxin, Xiangtan Municipal Party Secretary, announced that "I declare that Tidfore Heavy Industry begins the pilot run!"Thus the industry's largest Single Combined Workshop -Tidfore Heavy Industry’s 200,000m2 main workshop-were put into trial production, and the 120,000 m2 of intelligent outdoor commissioning field was also put into use.
More than 1,200 people, including Chen Sanxin Xiangtan Municipal Party Secretary, Mayor Hu Weilin, department leaders of Xiangtan City, Head of Jiuhua Economic and Technological Development Zone, construction company and customers, and employee representatives of Tidfore Heavy Industry, witnessed this exciting moment together.
Zhang Yong, Chairman of Tidfore Heavy Equipment Group, made an important speech at the meeting, and particularly introduced the base project. Tidfore Heavy Industry Manufacturing Base invested by Tidfore Heavy Equipment Group covers an area of 2200 mu and has a total investment of RMB3.5 billion. It is planned to construct 410,000 square meters of plant and supporting facilities. It is the largest independent complex factory in the industry in China. The whole project will be constructed in two stages. The first stage of construction covers an area of 1000 mu, and the planned investment is RMB2.5 billion. The annual output value will reach RMB10 billion after completed and put into production; and the second stage of supporting industrial park covers an area of 800 mu. The planned investment is RMB1 billion. After put into production in 2014, the annual output value will be RMB30 billion.
Since its settlement in Jiuhua in 2011, with the deep concern and strong support of all levels of party committees of Hunan Province and Xiangtan,and Jiuhua Economic and Technological Development Zone， the sales performance rapidly increases. The base construction is promoted with a high speed. Today, 20,0000 square meters of main workshop and outdoor assembly and debugging ground in the first stage have officially started the trial production. 40,000 square meters of office buildings and supporting living facilities will be completed by the end of September. In December the construction of supporting industrial park in the second stage will start.
Together with the input of basic hardware, Tidfore Heavy Equipment Group also vigorously promotes scientific and technological innovation. Through the close cooperation with Hunan University, Shanghai Baosight Software and other colleges and universities and combined cooperative research institutions at home and abroad, it has now successfully mastered the cutting-edge technology of offshore lightering platform and intelligent unmanned stock ground loading, unloading and conveying system and other industries. These cutting-edge technologies fill the gaps of international and domestic technology, fully meet the market needs of customers at home and abroad, and lay a solid foundation for our company to expand overseas markets. With the help of competent organizations of Xiangtan Municipal Government and Hunan Provincial Government, the above technologies have been successfully listed in the strategic emerging industries, new industrialization and other major projects of national development and reform commission, province and city.
In the last two years, as the country's economic growth became slow, Tidfore Heavy Equipment Group looked for opportunities in the crisis, vigorously promoted the marketing and achieved good results. In 2012, the group completed the sales income of RMB2.2 billion. In the first half of 2013 it exceeded RMB5 billion. It plans to complete RMB12 billion of sales order in the whole year.
In future, under the correct leadership of Xiangtan and Jiuhua Economic and Technological Development Zone, Tidfore Group will adhere to the concept of "building high-quality project, creating first-class enterprise", carry forward the spirit of "High Temperature Battling, High Yield Fighting”, and complete the follow-up infrastructure projects with high standard and high quality. It is expected that by the end of 2014, Tidfore Heavy Industry Manufacturing Base will have 410,000 square meters of modern workshop and supporting facilities, and build the first-class modern industrial park in China. It can form the industry cluster covering 5 areas, 10 major categories and more than 50 products, including large offshore lightering platform, loading and unloading ship, mobile portal crane, floating crane, offshore wind power lifting platform, stacker-reclaimer, car dumper, belt conveyor and tubular belt conveyor. It can fully meet the "customized" market demand of domestic and foreign customers.
On the same day, the centralized signing, starting and production ceremony of major and extra large projects of Xiangtan Economic and Technological Development Zone and the main activity of construction promotion meeting of "high temperature battling, high yield fighting” project was held on site. It is aimed at accelerating and promoting the project construction and completing the target task of construction throughout the year in the golden season of construction in the third quarter. Hu Weilin, Xiangtan Mayor, and Yu Xiangyi, Party Committee Secretary of Xiangtan Economic and Technological Development Zone, also made an important speech at the meeting.
It was reported that on that day six enterprises settled in Jiuhua, and three projects started construction. This means Xiangtan Economic and Technological Development Zone makes a big step towards with target of industrial park over one hundred billion yuan.
