On February 25th~26th, You Zhiyuan, Vice President of the Group and General Manager of Party Work Department participated in the First Meeting of Yangtze-Volga Cooperation Meeting which was held in Chongqing. The meeting was jointly hosted by Cheng Guoping, Deputy Minister of Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Sukhov, Russian President's Authorized Deputy Representative of Federal District along the Volga River.
In recent years, under the China-Russia comprehensive strategic coordination and partnership framework, exchanges and cooperation between Hunan and Russia has become closer and closer. By 2012, import and export volume between Hunan and Russia reached RMB 240 million. The heavy industry trade with Russia are very frequent. On the meeting, You Zhiyuan actively discussed with Russian representatives for specific projects on behalf of our company, and made efforts to promote our company’s cooperation in various fields with Russian customers. This exchange meeting established perfect information channels for our company in the Russian market, and laid a foundation for our company to explore Russian market in the future.
